RDX RACEDESIGN Audi A8 D2

The new Audi A8 is a perfect blend of luxury, performance, amenities and style, and it’s one of our favorite full-size luxury sedans. A lot of luxury limusines don’t look like race cars and that’s why the car tuning company RDX Racedesign wanted to create a sport kit for the Audi A8 D2. The tuning kit is made from new front and rear spoilers and new side skirts that make this car look lower, wider and more aggressive. Potential buyers could choose to install only parts from this aerodynamic body kit and it won’t cost them too much. Still, Audi A8 is a really expensive car and it definetely needs a great insurance policy if you want to stay out of trouble. You could find cheap auto insurance packages for it if you want to drive with style and with less worries.

Project Kahn Audi R8

We can’t find enough words to describe the latest car modified by Project Kahn. The Audi R8 is a superb car but this improved version is an art form. Kahn lowered the suspension and installed 20″ rims made from lightweight carbon fiber and under the hood this R8 has one of the strongest engines ever made, a 4.2L V8 that has 420 HP. Project Kahn says on it’s website that the engine is very good and it won’t need any performance tuning. There haven’t revealed more details about this car but we found a great teaser pic with it.

O.CT Boehler Concept BS3

O.CT Tuning modified an Audi S3 quattro and named it the Boehler concept BS3 after they implemented a lot of changes. They installed widened rear fenders, an aerodynamically designed rear bumper, a rear diffuser and stainless steel tailpipes. The car’s exterior got an axtra sporting touch after the engine bay, battery and air intake were covered in carbon fiber and the black and white color combination adds a lovely visual effect. This Audi S3 also received a new sport exhaust system that features an improved air intake system, new brakes with 8 pistons and 372mm discs and quality Yokohama Advan Sport tyres 245/30 R20 on the front axle and 255/30 R20 on the rear axle.

These wheels are supported by a fully adjustable coilover suspension made by O.CT. The tuners tweaked this car’s engine and now the Boehler Concept BS3 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h almost a whole second quicker than the stock Audi S3. The engine delivers 328 HP and a maximum torque of 425 NM and the car’s top speed is 265 km/h.

O.CT Tuning announced that they will build only 100 units of the BS3 concept and the price will be $86,100 or €67,000 each.

ABT Audi Q5

ABT Sportsline released a tuning programme for the new Audi Q5 last year at the Essen Motor and during that time they were offering power upgrades only for the 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI models. The car received an entirely new front apron with a large spoiler with integrated fog lamps and a huge front grille that makes this Q5 really aggressive. The body modifications continue with wider fenders, door trims, 22″ alloy wheels, a rear skirt that houses the new exhaust system with four tailpipes and an ABT muffler and a small rear wing. Recently, the company has announced that their Audi Q5 got new engine upgrades and with a so-called ABT Power package they manage to increase HP for every engine. The 2.0 TDI was upgraded from 170 HP to 190 HP and the 3.0L TDI version outputs now 310 HP. The gasoline engines got a more powerful version and the guys from ABT manged to upgrade the engine from 211 HP to 275 HP.

Since they increased the car’s performances a bit, engineers from ABT also installed other high performance components such as a new braking system and they lowered the car’s center of gravity to improve stability and handling at higher speeds.

Unique Sportscars Novitec Ferrari F430 Calavera

By the end of the year the new Ferrari F430 Calavera will be released by car tuning specialists Novitec Rosso and design company Unique Sportscars. Along with the new design will be a custom airbrush paint scheme by Knud Tiroch who has been previously hired by some big names including David Coulthard, ZZ Top, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Besides the paint, Unique Sportscars focus is on designing improvements for the customers who would like a non-factory look. LED daytime running lights, engine performance packages, embroidered seats, and an extended center console to name a few. Novitec had the task of increasing the power by adding twin-superchargers for the the 4.3 liter V8 Ferrari F430 Calavera.

With the additions of the superchargers, the Ferrari has a new output of 707 hp and 525 ft. lbs. of torque, with a 0-100 km/h time of only 3.5 seconds. The aerodynamic improvements allow it reach a top speed of 348 km/h, while rolling on 20 inch alloy wheels with larger brake,s and a stiffer suspension.
